Dear Parents/Guardians,

     My name is Mrs. Torres; I am the Family Liaison here at Margaret C. Ells. My role is to assist the principal and the parent community in fostering positive communication between the school and home; by building relationships with you parents, assessing your needs in promoting student success and connecting you with resources you might need.

     One of my goals is to get as many parents as I can, involved with the school. Research has shown that parent involvement is directly linked to student success.

     There is no question that parent and family involvement have a profound influence on children’s school success. The earlier parental involvement begins the better the results.

I cannot stress this enough and urge you to become the biggest part of your child’s journey.

I know that together we can be the best team your child has by his/her side.
